Configure Cityworks UtiliBot

This article explains how to configure the Cityworks UtiliBot, sync UtiliSync forms with Cityworks Work Orders and Inspections.

The Cityworks UtiliBot currently works with Asset Management System (AMS) Work Orders and Inspections. The integration is very flexible and supports creating UtiliSync task when a Cityworks activity (Work Order or Inspection) is created in Cityworks. It also supports creating Cityworks activities from UtiliSync.

We divide the configuration into two tabs, From Cityworks and To Cityworks. You can enable one or both of the of the tabs depending on your desired workflow. Configure the From Cityworks tab if you want create a UtiliSync task every time a Cityworks activity is created in Cityworks. Configure the To Cityworks tab to configure what data will be saved from the UtilISync form to the Cityworks activity.

Be sure to Sign In to your Cityworks account before you attempt to configure the Cityworks UtiliBot: Settings page > User tab > Cityworks Authentication.
