Edit Form Email UtiliBot

In this article, you will learn how to add and configure a new Email UtiliBot for your forms in any UtiliSync app. You can access the Email UtiliBot in the Form Builder space built into admin.utilisync.app.


This process can only be done by a UtiliSync user with Admin permissions.

Instructions 


  1. Sign in to the UtiliSync admin app - admin.utilisync.app
  2. Open the Forms tab in the Navigation menu.

  1. Select the form that you would like to edit from the list. This will open the form in our Form Builder space.
  2. In the navigation menu on the left, select the envelope icon to open the Email UtiliBot.
  3. Click on the +EMAIL button to start a new Email UtiliBot, or edit an existing UtiliBot.


  1. The first section of the Email UtiliBot allows you to edit typical elements of every email such as who it should be sent to and what sender information you would like to include.
  2. The second section is where you add the Subject Line and an optional name for your form Attachment.
  3. In the third section, you can decide what conditions you want the UtiliBot to watch for when sending emails. Always is a straightforward setting, but we also offer a Conditional setting. When enabled, you can customize your email to get sent based on form fields.
  4. The third section contains a space to add and edit the body of your email.

NOTE: One of the many convenient features of the Email UtiliBot is that the Form Placeholders are available for you to add to the Email settings. 

  1. Select the +FORM PLACEHOLDERS button at the top of the Form Builder space and you will see the list of placeholders from your form. If you click on a placeholder, it will copy to your clipboard and you can simply click and paste it in the desired field in the UtiliBot.

Success! Now you can add and customize Email UtiliBots to your Forms.
