Create a Line in Markup

In this article, you will learn how to customize and add a Line to an image in the Markup area of the UtiliSync Inspect app.

Instructions

  1. Open Markup for your image.
  2. Click on the Line icon and customization options will appear in the lower left of your screen.
  3. Select the color, opacity, and size that you want your line to be. Then click or tap on your image where you want your line to start. Your first click will not make anything happen visually; as soon as you click on the next point in your line, it will appear between the first and second points. You can continue adding points to your line and they will connect to the previous point. Click Finish Line in the lower right of your screen when you have completed that line.
  4. After finishing the line, if you would like to give your line a Label and Description or Delete it, those options appear in the lower right of your screen after you click on the line.
  5. The nodes at each point of your line will appear after you have finished creating your line. These nodes allow you to move and reshape your line.
  6. When you are finished customizing your line, close the edit line options at the bottom of the screen and click on Save and Close or the dropdown arrow to Save Draft and continue working in Markup.

Success! You can now add a Line to your photo or screenshot in Markup.
