Attach a Photo to a Form

In this article, you will learn how to add a photo to a form in the UtiliSync Inspect app. Adding a photo to a form is a very useful option for recording site-specific details. 


Instructions

  1. Select the site from the Map.
  2. In the info panel that opens, select the form from the Report Form dropdown if you would like to start a new form. Then open the form by tapping on the + button.
  3. If you want to continue working on a form that you started previously, tap on the Log tab and then tap on the clipboard icon in front of your desired form.
  4. Find the form field for Photos and tap on +ADD.
  5. Select Camera in the next info panel to take a photo with your device if you have not already done so.
  6. Select Docs to add one of the documents already attached to the site to your form.
  7. Select Map to take a screenshot of the UtiliSync map.
  8. Tap on Drag and Drop or Browse to select a photo from your device.
  9. Once your image is in the Add Image panel, you can give it a description or use the Markup tool. Markup is accessed through the More Options (three dot) menu. 
  10. Add the photo to your form by tapping the Close button. 
  11. Markup and description are also available after the image has been added.

Success! You can now add photos to a form.
