Quick Start Guide

This article explains how to access a site in the UtiliSync Inspect App and describes the information that you will find once you have access.

 Some features are only available if the organization that created the site has an Enterprise license.

Instructions

  1. Either use the link you receive through email, or go to inspect.utilisync.app/sites and enter your email address. This will take you to your Site List.
  2. From the Site List, click on one of the sites that you have been assigned to.
  3. The Site Info Panel will open with dialogs for forms, contacts, tasks, and documents. Each of the dialogs is described in the list below.
  • Create New Form is where you can start and submit a form if the +Add Form button is active. *Enterprise user-created sites only.
  • Site Contacts shows all contacts with access to the site.
  • Site Information is where you can find the UtiliSync and GIS Fields.
  • Tasks will have a list of all tasks like Action Items and Forms. Each Task has a different icon button in front of it that you use to open them.
  • Log shows all forms that have been submitted for the site.
  • Documents is where you will find all of the documents that have been uploaded for this site. *Enterprise user-created sites allow you to add and delete your own files here.

In the upper left corner, click on the three horizontal lines to open the Navigation Panel. Each of the actions available in the Navigation Panel is described in the list below.

  • This is where you can sign out of the UtiliSync Field Reports app by clicking on your name.
  • Sites List is where you click to return to your list of Sites.
  • Public Site Link is where you click to get the Public Site link for this site if your MS4 has created one.
  • Knowledge Base is where all of the Help articles can be found for the UtiliSync apps.
  • Support is where you can send an email to our Customer Success team.
  • Click on Reload to reload the app.

Success! You can now find information about a site, access documents and public links, and get help for any questions you have in the UtiliSync app.
