Export Markup

In this article, you will learn how to Export an image Markup from UtiliSync811 into another app.


Instructions for iOS

  1. Select a ticket from the Ticket List or the Map.
  2. Select Export Markup from the ticket details.
  3. Select the app you would like to use to open the Markup. You can choose Field Maps or Explorer, depending on which you have access to on your device.
  4. The Markup will import on your default map with the ticket number as the default file name. You can rename it if you want, then select Import.
  5. You will find your Markup on the map in the same location that it was originally.
  6. Pull the bar up at the bottom of the screen up to see the other information.

Success! You can now export a markup for ArcGIS Explorer or ArcGIS Field Maps.

Instructions for Android

  1. Select a ticket from the Ticket List or the Map.
  2. Select Export Markup from the ticket details.
  3. The next screen where you can open the file may look a little different depending on your device.
  4. Then you will select the app you would like to use to open the Markup. You can choose Field Maps or Explorer, depending on which you have access to on your device. One way to do this is to use the Notification pop up as shown below.
  5. The other way to do this is through the Files app in the Downloads folder as shown below.
  6. The Markup will import on your default map with the ticket number as the default file name. You can rename it if you want, then select Import.
  7. You will find your Markup on the map in the same location that it was originally.
  8. Click on the red locate area to get the ticket details.Success! You can now export a markup for ArcGIS Explorer or ArcGIS Field Maps.
