Add a Map Screenshot to a Form

Adding a map screenshot to a form is a very useful option for recording site-specific details. In this article, you will learn how to add a map screenshot to a form in the UtiliSync app.


  1. Select the ticket either from the Ticket List or from the Map.
  2. Open the form by either clicking on the + to start a new form or by clicking on the down arrow for the Ticket Log and clicking on the clipboard icon to continue a form that has already been started.
  3. If you are continuing a form, you will need to click on the down arrow in the Information field.
  4. Find the form field for Photos and click on the purple +ADD text.
  5. Select Map in the Add Image info panel.
  6. Select the area on the map you want. Take a screenshot with your device. Then click Cancel to close the map. Drag and Drop or Browse to select your screenshot on your device.
  7. You can add a Description to your image if desired.
  8. You can go directly to Markup to add details to your screenshot or you can Delete it.
  9. To add your screenshot to your form, click on Close.
  10. You also have the option to Markup or Delete your screenshot after it is added to the form.
